Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I made a huge change this coming school year. I will be teaching a 1st/2nd grade combo class. I am extremely excited for this new experience. However, I need help organizing my classroom.
My goal is for everything to have a place with purpose and that makes our classroom functional with routine.
I have collected such a resourceful classroom library the past few years. The reading bins will help me organize our variety of books by levels that are more age appropriate for my new kiddos. The bigger bins will help me organize and house our manipulatives. This would be extremely helpful for center work as well.
This year my students will be at tables instead of desks. The crates will help me organize their workbooks by table and the chair pockets will be used to hold students lighter objects like pencils and folders at their assigned seat.
