This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are awesome. I have some students in my classroom that need extra support. I have two classes, total there are 55 students in DLI program. 11 of them need extra support and some of them are ELLs. This products will help them learn in a more engaging way. I make reading a priority in my classroom and I have created a reading challenge. Some of my students have already read 100 books in 3 months. I love giving them prizes every time they reach their goals, I love when parents tell them their students are excited about reading.
