My Project

As my first full year as a full time teacher, I am ready to guide, support, inspire, and care for a classroom full of young learners. Success in the classroom, like in sports, involves teamwork, motivation, and the right materials. My goal is to build a sports-themed classroom, to create a fun, engaging environment, where students can feel like a part of a winning team everyday. My goal for this design is to use sports, and the life lessons you learn from playing as a mindset, not just decoration. Helping young students, and student athletes learn things like, responsibility, accountability, teamwork, and goal setting. My objective for all my students is to build their confidence, and make them believe they can push through challenges, cheer each other on, and celebrate all of the victories no matter how big or small.

With your support I will be able to do all of the following: create a sports themed library with a cozy corner where learners can enjoy reading books of their choice, using the bean bags, as well as the football rug.

I will be using team themed rewards, with an incentive system.

I will be using the mobile organizer and storage bins to label, and have turn in bins using team colors.

Any help would be so greatly appreciated! I am looking to give these kiddos the best educational experience, while teaching them the importance of becoming good people, and doing the right thing even when nobody is watching. Your donations help me create a classroom that feels exciting, a place where every student feels like an all-star. Thank you so much for helping me build a strong foundation, and starting point to my teaching experience, as well as believing in the power of themed learning spaces to motivate our young learners!!
