My Project

I teach high school French and students love learning language and culture, but grammar can be a chore! Using an individual board to write and have a little fun while other students are getting one-on-one help during the activity, is an incredible learning experience and some plain, old fun for high schoolers.

I've always used whiteboards and dry-erase markers for students to practice tricky grammar; every teacher in our department tackles tricky grammar this way!

But this year, when we experienced extreme budget constraints, we realized that the constant purchasing of dry-erase markers is costly.

As a department, we explored options that would be:

effective for teachers to assess and help student responses,

engaging as some students finished and some were still working and less impactful.
