What makes my students special is that they all have a PASSION for learning! Students at this age are like sponges, they absorb every bit of what we teach and put it into action.

My Project
Kindergarten is a crucial year to build a positive foundation in reading. Having multiple titles of leveled literacy books will allow me to meet students' varying interests and needs. The students in my class will be able to share these books for reading groups, Daily 5 work stations, as well as reading homework. Having these leveled books will allow me to meet each child's reading level.
This could be the year that the magic transpires and they fall in love with books as I integrate leveled literacy books into my classroom library.
My students need engaging and leveled books to spark their love of reading. These books will help increase their motivation to read independently. Having a multitude of books on each child's reading level will enhance their reading ability.
