My Students

Every student can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way. Our students are unique and enjoy new opportunities. We are part of a city school system and a Title I school.

Our students have mild to severe disabilities, and they all learn in different ways.

They are exceptional and love to learn. There are several items that are needed in order to help our students grow in their learning.

"Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding."

My Project

My students have trouble interacting with other kids. The play dolls will allow them to have family dolls of different races and learn to role play with them. The students can play with them and with other students. These will also help facilitate language and identifying emotions. The sensory beads will give them something to play with and keeps their hands busy during sensory time. I love the fact that it doesn’t dry out so if it does not get put up it will still be fresh! The write and wipe mats will be a place to play with the beads and will also help them in tracing.
