My Students

My students are from NY. We are a Title I school, and the basic principle of Title I is that schools with large concentrations of low-income students will receive supplemental funds to assist in meeting students' educational goals. With that being said, my students are the most grateful people I have ever met! When they get to use supplies that maybe they don't have at home, it's an exciting feeling! In class, we often get to use clay, paint, and paper mache. It is a great feeling for both the students and me to know they have the items they need to complete a project. The children really do benefit from hands-on activities. The students are eager to share their projects with you.

My Project

I am requesting some dry erase markers that students can use at home to work with on a dry erase board that we have in the classroom. These dry erase markers are essential to use during any type of project - even an art project that they can draw and erase. I am also requesting some dry erase erasers so they students erase anything they do on they dry erase pad.

These extra items will be used so we can have them on hand in the event that students need to take them home to help them do projects and to help them learn.
