Help me give my students the learning experiences they crave with life-cycle specimen kits and shelving to display the items.

I teach Pre-K and Kindergarten students in a unique public Montessori school which recently opened in 2018. I marvel at my student's desire for knowledge. They devour learning like it’s cupcakes! They are in the beginning stages of reading and writing. Writing seems to be a calming, creative process for them. In fact, they would write uninterrupted for hours if allowed to.
My students are an inquisitive bunch.
They enjoy math, poetry, science, art, and crafting. Often, they can be found crafting things for each other, creating a spirit of kindness and community among themselves. It’s amazing to see the good-will expressed between them.
Nothing inspires a path of investigation for younger students more than a discussion about science and nature. Who wouldn’t want to know about the life-cycle of a turtle or what baby chicks enjoy eating?
Once the discussion starts, I often find that students love science even when they didn’t know they love science; no convincing necessary!
It is important for teachers to create lessons that engage students and spark their curiosity and nothing engages them more than having life-like models that reflects the beauty and sophistication of things found in nature.
Life-like models encourage discovery effortlessly. Natural birch shelving provides a place to show-off and displays the models at the student's eye level. Help me give my students a chance to wonder, investigate, and discover worlds larger or smaller than their own.
