I have 8 amazing Pre-K students with special needs who range from ages 3-4. This a fast growing class resulting in major differentiation in regards to there needs. Some of these students are on a 1 year old level. We are in great need of academic and play tools for them. My goal is to continuously meet all of there needs and goals with more developmentally appropriate items. I love these students as if they were my own children and want nothing but the best experience for them.
My Project
These items will help with developmental needs:
The pull up mirror will help one student in particular who is immobile and loves mirrors.
It will provide her with the enjoyment of looking in a mirror and help her with her motor skills.
The gate will help with safety and keeping students away from the teachers area.
The sensory toys will help with my students who have autism and different sensory needs.
The dramatic play toys will meets there needs on there developmental level.
The blocks will be beneficial for learning to build and transition to small blocks.
All of these items will be put to great use and meet the needs of each and every student in my class.
