Help Me Help My Softball Players!

Help me give my students softballs, home plates, and training balls to help them better their game!

My Students

Do you remember how you felt waiting for the first game of the season and all the preparation that took place to get ready for it? My female athletes share that excitement of waiting for and then finally getting to compete on their respective court and/or field. These girls have the desire to become not just better athletes but better people across the board!

Many of our students are using athletics, in addition to their academic achievements, to get offered a scholarship so that they may build a better future for themselves.

More than half of our students at THS are from low-income households. With that being said, many of our student-athletes have jobs in order to help support themselves and alleviate the pressure put on their parents. They know what hard work is and they are not afraid of it. They thrive in situations others would have a very hard time facing. We really do have great kids that want to better themselves in every way and I am so proud of them! Go Bobcats!

My Project

The balls, plates, and training balls will help me run a more efficient practice and will, in turn, help my girls become better softball players. Softball is on the rise in our community and at our school. We have a lot of interests from girls wanting to play softball for our school and feeder patterns which is great. The only downside is with as many girls as we have out there we do not have the equipment to run an efficient practice.

These items that we requested would be a HUGE help to our program that includes over 50 female athletes.
