My students are in a 4th grade Chinese immersion program. Chinese is the hardest language to learn, and I always giving them credit for being brave to challenge themselves in learning this language. My students are very excited to use Chinese language to communicate whenever they can.Their learning attitude influences my teaching, I am so glad to teach these kids. Everyday in our morning meeting, I let students share their day lives to the class, and they get a lot of improvement by doing this activity. This project can make our Chinese learning more interesting, and some kids can have more chances to express themselves.
My Project
We are learning the world's hardest language -Chinese. I try to build as much opportunities as I can to facilitate my students communicate in Chinese. Under our current situation, some kids like to talk and some kids don't because it's really hard to hear if their voices are not loud enough. l play a ball game in my classroom everyday, and the students who catch the ball is supposed to talk. This has been helpful for most of the students to open their mouths. However, most of the time some kids can not be heard because their voice are not loud enough. When they talk, other kids cannot hear them. I believe this fun Qball will improve the students' participation for sure.
