My Project
The Constitution is one of the most important documents ever written. It is also a document that every single American should read. This will be my first year teaching U.S. Government, and I want to teach the Constitution in a deep and impactful way.
These Constitutions will offer a valuable resource that the students can not only use in class, but take into their adult lives.
I was given a pocket constitution in my freshman year of college, and still have it years later. I hold it as a valued item and have used it to strengthen my passion for learning and teaching about this country. I will be teaching an entire 5 week unit on just the Constitution, and these will aid me in doing so. Please help me give my students a lasting gift and allow them to become informed citizens.
