Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Crazy Traits makes learning genetics come to life. The students explore dominant and recessive traits and build a Crazy Traits character model. The students can then continue to learn about traits that allow their character to adapt and survive when environmental pressures change. The students learn that some traits benefit the survival of the organism while some traits slowly are weeded out of the gene pool.
This lesson was a big hit when my class sizes were smaller but now, my class sizes are bigger and I don't have enough kits to deliver my lesson successfully.
I would really appreciate your help in purchasing a few extra kits.
