Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach in low-income community in Los Angeles. My students range between the ages of 3-5. My class is a Preschool for All Learners class, PALs. This 2020-2021 is a school has begun and I have encountered new challenges finding and making the necessary changes and accomodations in my own home in order to develop and deliver meaningful lessons for my students.
Each and every one of my students is unique in so many ways.
Among the activities they enjoy are music and playing with manipulatives that promote their learning. They love learning and discovering sounds, letters, numbers, and everything about their environment. They are energetic and full of life and smiles.
My Project
The materials being requested will help me organize and prepare for delivering my lessons every day during these distance learning times.
The bookshelves will help me create a better space in my own home for my student's education.
All materials being used at home are being stored in carts and boxes piled up on the floor and I need to have everything handy and ready for my students' benefit.
The computer stand is to be able to place my computer on a height that is more efficient so my students can see me better.
