I need the opportunity to attend the Get Your Teach On Professional development. The PD training is a two day event in a different state so I will also need a hotel for one night.

My Students

My students are in first grade. If you walked into my classroom you would see that it is filled with eager learners who come in each day ready to learn in new and different ways.

In my first-grade classroom, every student is valued and brings something special to our room.

I love being part of a classroom where the students feel like school is their second home and a place where they treat each other like family. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

My Project

During this amazing 2 day Professional Development I will get to be with other teachers as they share their passion and enthusiasm for education. I will gain knowledge of tips, tricks, best practices, that these active teachers share. I will learn strategies that have been successful in real classrooms and I will return to school ready and prepared to engage my students and share with other teachers.

I will leave feeling that my teacher toolbox is full of new ideas to bring back to my classroom.
