This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are from low income families who really need your help! My school proudly has an B grade in K-3 literacy from the Department of Education! I hope to keep their minds growing with help from donors to get what my classroom needs. Our classroom is made up of whole group instruction, small group instruction, and individual instruction.

We have also started working on Project Based learning this year!

My students created a lemonade stand to raise money for the local animal shelter!

My Project

The Get Your Teach On conference has many experienced educators that will help give me new innovative ideas to use in the classroom. This conference is hands on and I will get to experience the techniques to be used in my classroom. They will give me tips, tricks, and secrets that will help engage my students in their learning! I am very passionate about my teaching and care deeply for my students.

I really want to have the best tools to help them grow and learn by continuously educating myself.

I have so much to learn from this experience. Thank you for your help in making this a possibility!
