My Project

Donating money for a crash pad will significantly benefit my autism classroom by providing a safe and calming space for students to regulate their emotions and sensory needs. A crash pad offers a soft, cushioned area where students can retreat when they feel overwhelmed, which is essential for their emotional well-being. It encourages self-soothing and helps prevent meltdowns by giving them a designated space to decompress. Additionally, having a crash pad can facilitate sensory play, which is crucial for developing motor skills and social interactions among peers.
