This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am currently a 7th and 8th grade teacher in an urban district.
Most of the students who attend my school are economically disadvantaged and need all the resources they can get at school.
They thrive, however, when they are given the opportunity to expand their learning.
Most students don't have supplies and I have to fund most items in my classroom. Because of this, I would like donations to help supply my students with classroom materials. My Spanish class is a place where they learn about other cultures and countries. I like for them to learn through the arts. We do a lot of art work and need color pencils, markers, scissors and glue sticks for them. Please help get get school supplies for my classroom.
