My Students
My classroom's motto is "In this class we don't do easy, we make easy happen through hard work and learning." It is very rare that will you see one of my students give up easily in my class!
I have a classroom full of students that come from a high-poverty area.
They don't come from the best home situations, but it doesn't mean they don't love to learn! They come to school every day willing to give more than 100%. We have a focus on thinking like scientists. My students are learning to be problem solvers and think outside the box!
My Project
With the 10 new Kindle Fire tablets, my students will be able to utilize the many programs our school has purchased. The Kindles will allow me to set up learning stations that will help enhance my students' learning. These stations will promote individual learning experiences, and my students will be able to have fun as they set learning goals and watch their own progress. The students will also be able to access coding programs which will inspire them to become future computer programmers and video game designers.
Your donation will help my underprivileged students get a chance to become better scientists and learners.
They should have the same opportunities as the affluent town right next door. My hope is that they become life long learners!
