Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a kindergarten teacher, I am always on the lookout for ways to help my young learners develop their writing skills. And that's why having supplies such as dry markers is crucial. These markers make the writing process less challenging and help children develop a better grasp, which is especially important since young children's hands aren't yet ready to hold a regular pen.

Another important tool needed in my kindergarten class is small clear supply bags, which help my students stay organized and keep all their supplies on hand.

And let's not forget the importance of card stock! In a kindergarten class, many things need to be printed in card stock and laminated so they can be reused throughout the school year.

My class consists of 23 dual-language students who are eager to learn, but our community is made up of a variety of low-income families who can't afford to buy these supplies themselves. Even though we get some supplies from the school, it's never enough to last us until the end of the year. That's why I'm reaching out to you today to ask for your help in getting these supplies for my students. With your help, my students can develop the writing and organizational skills they need to thrive in the 21st century. Thank you for your consideration.
