Help Me Easel-yCreate Differentiated Lessons and Materials

Help me give my students the materials they need in order to access an education tailored to their unique needs. The easel, chart paper, and other materials will allow me to work with small groups of students.

My Students

My students walk into my classroom each day full of questions and excitement. I am a special education teacher and believe in including my students to the greatest extent possible. My students

with disabilities spend their full day as part of a general education class.

There are a wide variety of abilities in the class, so my co-teachers and I need lots of materials in order to differentiate our instruction so that it is accessible to all students.

My students attend a Title I Chicago Public School in the Rogers Park neighborhood. My students know they need to work extra hard in order to keep up with their peers.

My Project

I am a special education teacher and co-teach with some fabulous general education teachers to bring the general education curriculum to students with kids with disabilities and differentiated instruction for all students. These materials will help us be able to use small groups to tailor our lessons to all of our students' various needs.

The easel and chart paper will allow me to visually present information to small groups of students.

The laminating pouches will help me create specialized flash cards, puzzles, and games for each group's level and specific area of need. The visual sight word flash cards will help our kids with significant dyslexia have a fun and memorable way to learn new sight words that don't follow typical spelling patterns.
