it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project aims to establish a calming corner in our school to support the emotional well-being of our students. This designated space will provide tools and resources to help teens manage stress, anxiety, and emotional challenges, ultimately fostering a better learning environment. The calming corner will serve as a refuge for students facing overwhelming emotions. Students can take short breaks to recharge, which will enhance their concentration and productivity in the classroom. The resources will teach them techniques for managing stress and anxiety, contributing to their emotional resilience. The corner will encourage students to explore their feelings and communicate their needs, which is crucial for their overall development.
Investing in a calming corner for our teens will not only help them navigate their emotions but also enhance their overall learning experience.
