Thank you for your donations for the PACE Pop Up Shop and Gallery. This has been an idea for several classes but the resources were never readily available. The initial idea was just to be artwork for sale but students did not want to part with the originals. Through the creation of wearable art students were able to create and share work yet still keep the originals. They even took it a step further by differentiating ideas for mass production from the value of an original.\r\n We had an after school event that was the initial launch of the Pop up Shop and Gallery on December 17th. Although the turnout was less than was expected. The conversations that happened the day after was what motivated students to create work they would like to honestly share and not just do work for a grade. Students were made aware that the resources were not infinite so the emphasis would be on quality of work that was ready to be shared and even used for fundraising. Students are now focusing on elevating the quality of the work so as to be considered for the next event. \r\nAgain, Thank you for your donation and we look forward to sharing our next event and even future partnerships if possible.","fullyFundedDate":1729218957973,"projectUrl":"project/pace-pop-up-shop-and-gallery/8848840/","projectTitle":"Pace Pop Up Shop and Gallery","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Zoboi","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9786990"},{"teacherId":234012,"projectId":8857899,"letterContent":"My students have had an amazing opportunity reading contemporary poetry books.
