Help Me Bring History Alive for 100+ Middle School Students!
Help me give my students a new computer cart! With this technology, my 6th grade World History students will be able to conduct meaningful research for projects, explore interactive geography tools, and build essential skills for the future.
One of the things I love most about my students right now is their genuine excitement for learning about new cultures. Whether we’re discussing ancient civilizations or modern-day traditions, they approach each lesson with curiosity and open minds. They ask thoughtful questions, share insights, and often bring their own experiences or knowledge into our conversations. It’s inspiring to see them so engaged and eager to understand the world beyond their own communities.
Their interest in geography has also been a joy to witness.
They light up when exploring maps, discovering new places, and connecting physical locations to historical events. I’ll never forget the day we took a virtual field trip to Machu Picchu—seeing their reactions was magical. It was as if history came alive right in front of them. They were captivated by the ancient ruins, fascinated by the Inca civilization, and left that day buzzing with new knowledge and appreciation for the world’s rich heritage.
