This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach mainly honors students at an underprivileged school. As a staff, we have a goal of giving our students their best post-secondary opportunities possible. Part of reaching this goal is in the process of both expanding our AP class offerings as well as improving the current ones to help them achieve passing AP scores.
This current cohort of students is one of the most curious, invested, and dedicated groups I have ever taught.
I am asking for your help in providing me a better and consistent daily curriculum for AP Biology as well as new study aides like the coloring pages and student handbook.
Additionally, I am in the beginning stages of starting a new AP class of Human Geography and am needing some materials to start planning the course. These are resources I could use year after year as I help in building a solid AP program at our school. I truly appreciate any consideration of my project. Thank you!
