Help me give my students fluorescent light covers, bouncy bands, floor cushions, and a chance to become excited for learning! Due to Covid, my students lack in several different areas and I want to be able to provide a space where they are excited to learn.

My Project
Due to experiencing COVID while entering Kindergarten, my now-second graders have a few areas where they struggle. With almost two years of not having a consistent classroom environment, my students need a place where they can let go of frustration. As they dive into certain subjects, they become frustrated and they lose their excitement to learn. Their learning is short spanned and with items such as fluorescent light covers, floor cushions and a new rug, I can bring excitement back into the classroom! I can use this excitement and eagerness to then spearhead into the areas they struggle in. Other areas we could use help in is sitting still, reading, and social-emotional ranges. The sight word game requested and emotion book set would help create a fun way to improve those areas. The desk bands would help with my students that need constant movement to stay focused. I would love to provide my students a chance to be excited in their classroom by having these new items. My students will be able to grow and experience a classroom that is engaging and exciting.
