Help Make the Reveur House a Warm and Inviting Community!
Help me give my students supplies to make the Reveur house a community to be proud of. We are implementing the house system from the Ron Clark Academy. This is similar to the Harry Potter house system.
Many of my students are from low-income situations. We are a PreK-2 school, and they move to an elementary 3-5 school after they leave us. This house system will be a collaboration between the two schools. The house system will also help them feel like they belong to a community bigger than an individual classroom, especially as they get ready to transition to the new school.
My Project
Our school is implementing the house system from the Ron Clark Academy. This will be used to create a positive culture of learning and growing. It will be used to reward attendance as well as positive behaviors. Students will use the beads, pom-poms, markers, and other items I am requesting to show their school spirit and help build community. They will earn points for their house and may earn additional items through positive behavior and attendance. We will also use some items for decorating on "House Days" to create excitement and community. We can't wait to get started!
