This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a third grade teacher in the city of Detroit. I teach my class every subject including Reading, Writing, Math et cetera. Our students are eager learners. Our students come excited to learn something new every day. Our students care about their learning.
Our students engage in a rigorous Reading, writing and Math curriculum designed to give the students a deep understanding of concepts.
We teach Math with a problem-based approach. We teach them Reading, Writing and Science using project-based learning.
My Project
Our school is located in the city of Detroit. Our winters are cold and long, and our springs are wet. During these seasons our students often have indoor recess in our classrooms.
I am asking for some board games to help our students have a fun time during indoor recess.
I believe that these games will also help keep the students from getting into trouble during recess.
I want my students to look forward to recess. I believe that these new board games will do precisely that for them. Your donation will be greatly appreciated during this school year and for school years to come.
