This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are very special in kindergarten in a high-needs area of a borough in New York City. Most of my students are English Language Learners or children with special needs eager to learn and discover. Each student is unique in his or her own way and deserves to have the best educational experience possible. All of my students receive free or reduced-price lunches.
Unfortunately, my classroom does not always have the supplies we need.
Every donation makes a difference in my student's lives. I look forward to creating projects that will make our physical classroom a joyful learning environment. Thank you!
A classroom Mobile Whiteboard Easel is an important tool for every classroom. It allows for collaborative and engaging activities. In our classroom, an easel would allow my students and me to participate in interactive and shared writing activities. We could display books during shared reading and read aloud. Our easel would allow us to display our phonics letter/sound cards during phonics instruction. This easel would also allow us to complete many math activities together.
A mobile easel would allow my students to learn in all areas of the classroom.
I would be able to easily provide my students with visual representations for all subjects. In addition, my students would be able to demonstrate their understanding of the topics taught using the easel. The list goes on and on. We would be so grateful to have an easel in our classroom.
