My Students
Our students are diverse learners from diverse backgrounds. Our school focuses on serving economically disadvantaged students by providing an exceptional education that prepares all students for college, career, and life. Students are eager to learn. They do best with hands-on and real-world learning experiences.
My Project
Because of the pandemic, our students have had limited access to art materials. Each student was supplied their own set of regular pencils and 8 shades of crayons. Occasionally, students have been able to use class sets of markers as they can withstand cleansing.
We need to paint!
We do not have individual supplies nor an effective way to sanitize our current paint materials. Class sets of Kwik Stix tempera paints can be cleaned easily and the paint will dry quickly. I can send student work home right after class instead of managing drying racks. We can also use the Magic Water Pens to turn our current marker sets into watercolor paints. Please help our students get the experience of painting to broaden their art skills.
