This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Fidgets will help my preschool students improve focus, manage sensory input, and develop self-regulation skills. By providing a quiet outlet for movement, they’ll be better able to engage in group activities, transition smoothly between tasks, and maintain attention during learning.
My goal is to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students, especially those with diverse sensory and attention needs, can thrive.
By offering a variety of fidgets, I aim to promote self-regulation, reduce anxiety, and encourage active participation.
My students are curious, creative, and eager to explore the world around them. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique strengths and learning styles. Many of them benefit from sensory supports to help them succeed in a structured classroom environment, making fidgets an essential tool to meet their individual needs.
