My school is made up mostly of children with autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivity, or other special needs.
My students are full of life and energy; and they are fun, loving, caring, and wild.
They want to learn and grow and it can be hard for my students who have learning disabilities and/or are on the spectrum. This does not stop them from trying to do their best. They each have their own goals that they want to achieve. COVID-19 has made goal-reaching harder. Students are missing more and more school because of COVID. My students want to learn and grow even though we are living through a pandemic.
My Project
COVID has hit across the world and has affected social-emotional, academic learning, and seating for students.
These books, flashcards, and alternate seating will help my student be able to learn more and in more comfortable ways.
My students want to learn and grow and these are things that will help them make their goals.
COVID has made it hard to share anything like items and chairs. These items will allow for me to help them get better seating that they do not need to share, and organize items that they can use, and laminate items so they can be easily cleaned.
