The majority of my students live in a community that faces many of life’s daily challenges, yet they are undaunted by their socioeconomic disadvantages and circumstances and continue to embrace our school mantra of striving to achieve excellence and greatness. In order to break the cycle of generational poverty, I am on a mission to enlighten and equip my students with the knowledge and information that will help them to be financially literate.
I need your support to provide my students with Kindle Fire devices which will enable them to have access to a plethora of reading materials and books about financial literacy as we continue to explore the world of savings, and how investing strategically beginning from a young age can help enable us to be more financially secured in our later years.
Adding a Kindle to our learning tools will be beneficial to my youngsters as it can be used both for reading and online research. It will also serve as an assistive reading device for my visually impaired students.
