Headphones are an essential tool for helping my students learn. During our math time, my students engage with educational lessons on their tablets. They need to be able to hear the lessons as they are emerging readers so they need the lessons read to them. They also need to build their phonics skills.
Headphones will also allow students to work independently when needed during small groups or specific instruction so they do not disturb their peers.
We will be able to explore multiple projects in class where students are working collectively side by side but may be more focused using the headphones to hear.
