Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My kindergarten class is made up of a wonderful group of diverse interests, abilities, and learning goals. My kindergartners are learning to read and write, as well as add and subtract! Our class loves to explore the outdoors and learn about their city, too!
My kindergarteners collaborate to build community around what they have in common and their shared experiences in and out of the classroom.
My kindergarteners are part of a small school in a big city! They love learning, exploring, and sharing with others. When they are unable to go to experiences, we like to bring it right to the classroom and make it come alive.
My Project
My kindergartners love to wiggle, dance, and move about! But in our gym, we do not have any way to show the whole group how to do so! Having a projector would make a world of difference! Imagine what a gym class would look like for kindergartners to have the images on the wall demonstrating how to move, jump, and play the games we love! They would adore being able to visually see these actions right there in front of them! Please help make this possible for our little ones!
It would make explaining lessons in the gym, so much easier for my kindergartners to understand as well as make learning games, actions, and movement, so much easier and fun for them!
