Help Kids Sit During a Pandemic in Comfort

Help me give my students comfortable seats so that they can work independently during this crazy pandemic. If they are going to have to stay in one spot, we can try make it comfortable.

My Students

I am currently a 2nd grade teacher in a Title I School District. That means that there is a very high poverty level. These kids will come from all types of homes and will be a little scared during this pandemic. They deserve just a little extra from us.

My Project

Students will have to sit independently at their desks. They will be in a place that does not look the same. People have to wear a masks. Kids will have to sit at desks when they are used to being able to move around. This is definitely not ideal.

But if there’s one thing we can do, it is try and make their seat a little bit more comfortable.

So help me get these cushions so that they can wiggle a little and still a learn.

Making a small difference with their seat could help them learn in this tough time.
