Help Kids Feel Clean and Confident!!! (Toothpaste, Soap, More!)
Help me give my students EVERYTHING they need to come to school HEALTHY, CLEAN, and CONFIDENT like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, and more!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Ninety percent of our amazing students live below or near the poverty line. About 60% of our students are learning English in school. Sometimes our school struggles to get the resources we need to teach and care for our incredible students. This makes the job of a school even more important.
Many students we teach experience poverty, but that's just where they are starting.
Our students love to create art and read. They write computer code and even perform Shakespeare. They have big dreams, and let's help them reach for those dreams!
My Project
Our students LOVE coming to school and learning every day. Families are working hard to make sure kids have what they need, but during these hectic times, some families could you a little extra help.
It can be hard for kids to join in on all the classroom fun when kids don't feel clean and confident--Let's fix that!
By choosing this project, you will be sending kids everything they need to stay fresh and clean for school. We will be able to send home care packages complete with soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and more. These essentials will help kids come to school feeling happy and healthy!
