Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I currently work at low low-income school. My students are a diverse population with different needs. Students are coming into kindergarten with less skills, academically and socially. With being at home and not being able to attend preschool, my students are at all different levels. I am looking for bins to help differentiate my students' work so I can meet each student at their own level. The puzzles and blocks will help our students with social skills as well as their academics! The lap desks are for students to have a choice in where they work. Giving students choices in their learning helps to maximize their learning so we can get all our students to catch up to their peers.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
