This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with my ENL students in an after school program to help improve their vocabulary and reading comprehension. My students have lunch early in the day, which means, by 3 o'clock, they need a little something to hold them over until they go home at 5 p.m.
My students need healthy snacks and water to help keep us focused and hydrated in our after-school program.
The kids get so excited when I say it's snack time. I would love to provide these healthy snacks and water for them to enjoy in after school.
