Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a speech-language pathologist, I have the privilege of helping students communicate to the best of their ability, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in language and literacy. Many of my students face challenges with reading and require explicit, individualized instruction to strengthen their skills. This project is designed to provide just that, offering workbooks filled with targeted exercises that meet students at every stage of their literacy journey.
These workbooks are tailored to support a wide range of learners, with multiple practice opportunities that reinforce key concepts.
To ensure my students stay engaged and motivated, I've also included fun, reinforcements—like a ring toss—that allow them to take breaks and recharge, keeping their focus sharp during reading practice sessions.
