My Project
"HELP KEEP THE KIDS FLYING" is a great slogan for this project! Thanks to the many donors of my previous projects, my STEMX Drone Exploration class is expanding each year. This year I am in need of the Dji Avata drone battery and charger to continue to enhance our classroom experience and to "keep the kids flying!"
One of the challenges my students face during their aerial photography assignment is the limited flight time.
With another set of batteries, the kids will have extended flight times to allow the opportunity of capturing breathtaking aerial shots while using their creative visions.
The goals of this class is to master the technical aspects of drone operation, including flight controls, camera settings, and drone maneuvering. Secondly, we want to capture compelling shots from different perspectives. Finally, we want to produce aerial photographs to showcase in our school.
What makes this class special and unique is the enthusiasm the kids bring everyday! They are eager to fly the drones and to learn different aerial photography skills to enhance their creativity and technique when it comes to capturing their shots. Having the extra batteries will allow the students to fly longer in order to capture the perfect shot they are looking for!
