This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I love about my students is the impressionable qualities about them. These students have the opportunity to be impacted by a curriculum they have been missing their whole lives. Many of these students have not experienced general music class because my school hired me as a music teacher after not having one for multiple years.

Your gift could impact hundreds of students who come from many different backgrounds and need a diverse curriculum to support this.

I am incredibly hopeful that donors like you will have the power to benefit low income students at a large city school.

My Project

If you are one of the amazing people who donated to get a classroom set of ukuleles for my students, THANK YOU! I can't wait to share them with my students. Now, I need a way to keep these ukuleles safe.

With a lock closet and ukulele gig bags, my students will be able to make sure that these ukuleles last as long as possible, so that many students in the future can look forward to ukuleles in music class!

Please consider giving money to this fund, as my students are going to appreciate it so much. Many of my students come from difficult homes and/or lower incomes, so these ukuleles will be of great value to them.
