This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a class of students with various special needs. Within those needs are opportunities for me to teach Career and Life Skills that the students can generalize in the real world. My students are great, they enjoy learning, and during our Life Skills class, they get to communicate and work in partnership with peers. During their learning activities, they learn skills that they can use and apply when applying for employment.
Having a new refrigerator would allow us to store our food safely and have the ability to plan for larger-scale projects that can be beneficial and increase skill demands.
