This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a wonderful school in the South Bronx. Many of these children come from low-income homes. Our school has had budget cuts and it’s hard to get the supplies we need for our children. We have amazing children who deserve to have the supplies they need to succeed. Physical education is extremely important in school. Children need gross motor activities to keep them moving. Children are sitting all day long and it’s important for their education to get time to move around. You can help children get supplies that will help them in school.
My Project
My children are in the classroom all day. They eat in the classroom as well. It is very important that we have the right cleaning supplies to reduce the risk of spreading germs. It is very important that we do everything we can to help keep everyone safe. The children wash their hands often but we also need to clean all the surfaces in the classroom. We clean the classroom as often as we can especially after lunch and snack time. It’s important everyone feels safe in school. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal.
