Accidents happen, and recently our classroom laptop accidently took a tumble to its demise and will not even turn on! Our classroom laptop is a very important piece of classroom technology. As teachers we use it to plan and create lessons, as well as access and create printable materials that are differentiated for our spectrum of learners in our classroom.
My students are a diverse group of Kindergarteners.
Our class is composed of some English language learners, general education students and students with special needs. They are all very unique and learn very differently so access to materials beyond what we have within the walls of our classroom is such an important part of our teaching and our students' learning.
Additionally, our laptop is a hub for our daily instruction. Each day we use our laptop as a way to display almost everything to our students on our projector. We display slides for our morning meetings and lessons, use it to stream movement videos for brain breaks, and watch educational videos. Not to mention, it also is our way to conduct virtual parent meetings and communicate with parents daily.
Please consider contributing to this project and help us get back on track for the rest of the school year!
