This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a fifth grade teacher in a multicultural school, our ICT classroom services students with IEPs, 504s, behavior plans, and a wide range of academic success. We are in need of tablets to implement in our daily use in all our subjects throughout the day. Our school's budget has decreased and the need for technology is great. Many of us take technology for granted since it is so accessible in our lives. That is not the case for my students.

Having tablets will allow them to research topics we are learning about.

It will also assist them in creating projects. They will be able to make presentations with the assistance of these tablets. We all learn in so many different ways. A standard textbook is boring to some. The tablets will bring excitement to the way they learn! These tablets will also benefit struggling and IEP students through the use of this technology.

These tablets will be used in Mathematics, Writing, Reading, Social/ Emotional Learning, Social Studies, Science, Art, and in small groups and group work.

Our students will benefit greatly from your donations. Using these tablets will help them succeed. Let them have an opportunity to be all they can be.
