Help! I'm Switching Roles and Need Supplies!

Help me give my students an organized work environment to help them feel safe.

My Project

I am about to start year 15 at my wonderful school. This year will look a bit different for me, though, as I am switching roles. I am leaving the general education classroom and will begin my 15th year teaching as a special education case manager.

This means, not only will job title and expectations change, but so will my classroom!

I will be downsizing to a smaller classroom/ office setting and will need some supplies in order to stay on top of deadlines, IEPs, and student intervention groups.

In order for me to start off on the right foot, I will need to stay organized, so I can be prepared for my students and their very specific needs. Having the folders and an area to file important papers will help me to keep up with all of my new job requirements. I will need a large desk calendar and post-its to stay on top of deadlines and upcoming meetings.

Many of the students I work with will need tools to assist with academic or behavior challenges, so having a nice, strong laminator will help keep their intervention materials safe and clean.
