My Project

We are a special education wing that serves the needs of students who need snacks to help them be successful throughout their day. Many of our students come from low SES backgrounds and are unable to provide snacks from home. They rely on our classrooms to have the food they need to help them remain focused and successful in class. Some classes have early lunch so they need afternoon snacks. Other classes have late lunch and they need a morning snack. In the past 3 months we have gone through over 600 snacks and are very appreciative of the opportunities to eat whenever they need to.
