"Art is as natural as sunshine and as vital as nourishment"- MaryAnn F. Kohl. Preschool children deserve the opportunity for daily student-created art activities. In order to achieve this we need paint, paper and materials for students to express themselves in an artistic manner. With all this creative expression, we go through a lot of paint, craft dough and paper! These materials offer students sensory, social, art and literacy opportunities. Due to our low income demographics, it is imperative that we provide our students with as many different art materials and opportunities as they may not have access to these tools at home.
