I am a Special Education teacher in a Third Grade Integrated Co-Teach Class where there are special education students learning alongside general education students.
Even though we are remote teaching while quarantining, our students continue to have an eagerness to learn!
Our school consists of culturally and linguistically diverse students within a low socio-economic community. Our special education students have been diagnosed with various exceptionalities including learning difficulties, speech impairments, ADHD, Autism, and sensory issues.
Unfortunately, our students will be learning remotely, and we are teaching remotely, for the time being due to COVID.
My Project
Remote learning is not easy for the child, the teacher, and even the parent! Recreating the classroom learning environment remotely to keep students engaged and learning is a daunting task.
Having supplies such as ink cartridges, copy paper and a gift card for Teachers Pay Teachers would be so beneficial!
These resources would be so helpful, especially this school year! My students look forward to continuing their education at home!
The uncertainty of not knowing when we will all be returning to the classroom makes it all the more important for teachers to have these essential supplies in order to facilitate learning. My special education students need this more than ever!
Being able to have copy paper, ink for my printer and Teachers Pay Teachers resources so that I can print and upload differentiated worksheets would be such an added benefit! I would be able to create individual and leveled group assignments for my students.
This is crucial for me as a teacher since I do not have any of my teaching books with me. In addition, my students don’t have any of their workbooks either!
The future is uncertain. No one knows when we will be returning to the classroom. Please make it possible for me to create an engaging virtual learning community for my amazing students!
